The reaction mixture was concentrated and purified by column chromatography (cyclohexane/acetone) to afford the title compound as a white solid (270 mg, 89%). 1H NMR (500 MHz, CDCl3) ppm = 7.37 – 7.32 (m, 1 H), 7.27 – 7.24 (m, 1 H), 7.02 (td, J=7.6, 1.0, 1 H), 6.73 (d, J=8.0, 1 H), 4.34 (s, 2H), 3.14 (s, 3H). Rt = 2.07 min (HPLC method C).
